How link checking works
Paste a link into the Link Checker. Trustiry follows the redirect chain from its server and records observable signals:
- HTTPS availability, which protects transport but does not prove identity
- Domain age when registration data is available
- Lookalike, leet, and punycode patterns
- Domain endings with higher abuse rates
- Cross-domain redirects
- Threat-feed matches and reviewed reports
Verdicts
| Verdict | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Relationship reviewed | Current reviewed evidence connects the domain to an organization |
| Unverified | Trustiry has not confirmed that relationship |
| Suspicious | Several risk signals were observed |
| Risky | Strong risk signals were observed |
| Likely impersonation | The domain resembles a recorded brand but differs from its domain |
A low risk-signal count is not a safety guarantee. Results show their evidence, unknowns, policy version, and expiry time.
